Compass Plus Technologies triumphs at Global Banking & Finance Awards for second year in a row

Compass Plus Technologies wins at the Global Banking & Finance Awards for a second consecutive year. The company was honoured with the Best Payment Technology Implementation Project Malta award in recognition of its exceptional work with Moneybase, a Maltese Fintech offering digital payments and a wide spectrum of investments to customers across Europe. The Global Banking & Finance Awards recognise excellence within the global financial community and celebrate the achievements of companies that demonstrate innovation, expertise, and outstanding results in the banking and finance industry.

In 2019, Moneybase chose to partner with Compass Plus Technologies to take advantage of the company’s 30 years’ experience in payments processing, visionary technology and highly skilled team, in order implement an end-to-end virtual and physical card issuing solution. The successful and smooth completion of the project enabled Moneybase to launch Malta’s first homegrown digital payments platform. Since then, the partnership has gone from strength to strength and Moneybase has developed multiple card products, launched tokenization projects including Google Pay, Apple Pay, Garmin Pay and Xiaomi pay, issued 10,000 cards and onboarded over 30,000 customers since launch.
