Compass Plus Technologies celebrates hat-trick win at Global Banking & Finance Awards

Recognised for driving innovation and excellence in payment technology solutions across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Compass Plus Technologies has been recognised in the Global Banking & Finance Awards for the third year in a row, bagging three different accolades for its contribution to the banking and payments industry. These prestigious awards aim to recognise businesses driving innovation, progressive and inspirational changes within the global financial community.

The first accolade, Best Payment Technology Solution Provider Africa, was awarded to Compass Plus Technologies in recognition of its stellar reputation across the continent and, in particular, its exceptional work with Unified Payments and AccesBanque. Unified Payments, Nigeria's premier financial technology service provider and a long-standing customer of Compass Plus Technologies, was able to future-proof its e-commerce acquiring business by migrating to the award-winning payments technology provider’s new payment gateway solution. While AccesBanque, a key player in Madagascar’s banking landscape, migrated the entirety of its card management and ATM acquiring businesses to Compass Plus Technologies processing centre, enabling the bank to scale up its business and diversify its offerings.

The second award, Best Payment Technology Solution Provider Nepal, celebrates Compass Plus Technologies’ experience and reputation in the Nepalese market. Its most recent partnership announcement being Kumari Bank, one of Nepal’s leading commercial banks, who selected Compass Plus Technologies processing centre to deliver its issuing, acquiring and ATM acquiring services.

The final award received, Excellence in Innovation – ATM Acquiring Bolivia, acknowledges Compass Plus Technologies’ recent work with one of the fastest-growing retail and corporate banks in Bolivia, who migrated its ATM acquiring business to TranzAxis in order to flexibly and easily manage its ATM network in-house.
