Payments Awards shortlist Compass Plus Technologies for Payment Technology Provider of the Year

Compass Plus Technologies, an international provider of retail banking and payments software, is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for Payment Technology Provider of the Year (SME) at the prestigious Payments Awards.

The award recognises technology vendors that have excelled in delivering innovative card and payment solutions, driving measurable improvements in operational efficiency for their clients. Compass Plus Technologies’ nomination reflects its commitment to equipping financial institutions worldwide with agile, future-proof technology - from its flagship TranzAxis payments platform to pioneering mobile banking, BNPL, and Islamic banking solutions.

Over the past year, the company has delivered transformative projects across Asia, Africa, and Europe – from enabling City Bank in Bangladesh to migrate over 3,000 merchants to a new e-commerce acquiring platform in a single day, to partnering with KCB Bank in Kenya to introduce East Africa’s first platinum multi-currency prepaid card, empowering customers to transact in 18 global currencies without traditional exchange fees. In Nepal, the company helped Fonepay launch the nation’s first virtual credit card – already in use by six of the country’s largest FIs – while in Mongolia it supported Trade & Development Bank in becoming the first bank in the country to offer Apple Pay. These milestones showcase Compass Plus Technologies’ ability to deliver complex, high-impact projects at speed and scale, in some of the world’s most dynamic and diverse markets.
