Compass Plus Technologies provides comprehensive, integrated and flexible payment platforms (licenses as well as processing services) to payment service providers, Fintech companies and financial institutions. Our customer base includes retail banks, processing centres, national switches, alternative payment companies and personalisation centres on a global scale. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and driven Sales & Account Manager to join a global, innovative, technology-focussed company and to help grow the business.

Duties include:

  • Chosen regions of market analysis for the Company products and services sales. Leads and relationships development with potential customers. Sales process management starting from lead creation to the deployed project supervision.
  • Proactive interaction with potential customers: presentations, business negotiation, business requirements analysis, contracts negotiation, sales process and sales team management.
  • Participation in marketing activities, such as conferences and exhibitions; interacting with potential customers, delivering speeches, articles and etc.
  • Bid process supervision, development and adaptation of commercial proposals based on local market requirements and performing other activity related to tender processes.
  • Analysis of regional specific requirements and demand for new products and services including analysis of business potential of such products and services sales.
  • Interaction with the global pre-sales support team for joint internal projects.
  • Account Management, business development and secondary sales to the existing Company Customers in region.
  • Reporting according to corporate rules and regulations to the Managing Director / Appointed supervisor and other Company management.
  • Developing and executing a business plan and sales strategy for the regional market that ensures attainment of the Company’s sales goals and profitability
  • Conducting market analysis in the assigned region in respect of finding opportunities for the Company, establishing contacts and enhancing relationships between the Company and its potential customers
  • Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Developing a network of the Company’s business partners within the regional market, maintaining effective business relations with the partners, drafting respective partner agreements, obtaining their approval, and monitoring their implementation
  • Participating in the development of sales plans, achieving personal sales targets and taking responsibility for achieving the regional sales targets
  • Collecting relevant information and, based on that, submit regular (at least twice per annum) analytical market research reports on industry trends and activities of the Company’s competitors within the regional market, competitors’ material
  • Reviewing customers’ business requirements, preparing commercial proposals, proposal presentations and RFP responses
  • Working with the Marketing Division to co-ordinate marketing activities in order to generate leads
  • Conducting sales of the Company’s products and services within the regional market, initiating and managing requisite pre-sales activities, preparing the requisite sets of contractual documents and obtaining their approval, implementing other sales-related procedures laid down by the Company
  • Taking personal responsibility for managing customer relationships within the regional market, including monitoring of customer business development, maintenance of personal relationships with key customer managers, conducting regular meetings with customer employees holding positions of responsibility, keeping them informed of the Company’s innovations, proposing new solutions, products and services marketed by the Company and/or its partners, participation in planning of customers’ development budgets, documenting on a timely basis all significant facts and events related to Company customers in accordance with the rules and using the form laid down by the Company
  • providing timely reports on the results of the Company’s activities in accordance with the rules laid down by the Company
  • based on the information with respect to market development, competitor activities and customer requirements, raise suggestions for the improvement and functionality extension of the Company’s product and services portfolio
  • preparing press releases and submitting them for publication on a regular basis, and in case of significant events preparing information for the publication of success stories and case studies
  • participating in topical regional and international exhibitions and other marketing activities of the Company, author and publish articles in specialist industry periodicals
  • continuously enrich and extend knowledge of the Company’s industry, its products, information technologies of the retail banking and electronic payments industry
  • managing Business Partner relationships
  • integrating with the Sales & Sales Support Team
  • interacting with the global pre-sales support team for joint internal projects
  • work co-ordination with Managing Director
  • reporting according to the corporate rules and regulations directly to the Managing Director and the Company’s upper management team

Required skills and knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of EFT and retail banking industry. Preferably, working experience at one of the global competitors or in any other relative company (terminal vendor / CBS supplier, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation, social, contact network creation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of the dedicated markets
  • Proactive type of personality, able to reach the set sales and marketing targets
  • Communicative and adapting to internal rules and regulations
  • Sales of software solutions experience in previous companies for over 5 years is preferred, a list of case studies or volumes of sales is required
