Sales support manager
The Sales Support Manager is responsible for the preparation and support of pre-sale activities. This role includes participation in marketing and business related events, giving presentations and attending exhibitions to support the sales of products and services and the acquisition of new customers and business partners for the company.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Review customer business requirements, prepare commercial proposals, proposal presentations and RFP responses for existing and potential customers
- Provide support to the Sales Manager in conducting sales of products and services, to include:
- Initiating and managing requisite pre-sales activities
- Preparing the requisite sets of contractual documents and obtaining approval
- Implementing other company sales-related procedures
- Assist the Sales Manager in managing customer relationships within the region, to include:
- Monitoring customer business development
- Maintaining personal relationships with key customer personnel
- Conducting regular meetings with key customer employees
- Keeping customers informed of product innovations
- Promoting new solutions, products and services developed by the company and/or its partners
- Participating in the planning of customer development budgets
- Documenting all customer-related information on a regular basis as per company procedure
- Participate in topical regional and international exhibitions and other relevant marketing activities
Desired skills and experience (minimum requirements):
- Strong knowledge of the EFT and retail banking industry
- Experience in building and managing consultancy/pre-sales teams
- Degree in IT, computer science or engineering
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of database maintenance
- Experience of proposals preparation
- Support the preparation of contractual documentation
